Let go

"You cannot hurry time".

One of life's solid truths which is something I have always struggled with. Immediate results, instant gratification, seeing the rewards of our fruits. However without time for this fruit to grow, they would never ripen. Allowing things to take their natural course has often left me frustrated, angry, unfulfilled. I am always impatiently waiting for what I know I want yet do I? If it is meant to be it will materialize for me. Even perhaps if I have to then search for it as I have moved on, if it is right for me, I will find it again.
Life moves in circles. It takes a course which sometimes might seem so far off the destination that you desire but at the end of the day it takes you there all the same. They say "it is the journey not the destination" yet often I feel that I obsess about what I want to have I forget to enjoy obtaining it and the path which I need to take.
"So Ham" has become my mantra. "Let go". Although I find this hard I know that each and every time I practice this mantra my life seems to get a little less complicated. We have a tendency to hold on to everything, even if it doesn't serve our happiness. Ultimately we need to be happy. It's as simple as that.

The small things in life

The small details are what catch my eye. The intricate pieces of a puzzle. In my life I try to find these and capture them. I feel that without these all coming together life wouldn't be as it is. Don't forget to look beneath the layers of life to find true beauty and a stillness which causes our hearts to stop a beat.

Our life as spirals

All of nature is seen to move in spirals. Opposite forces react to each other to bring ebb and flow. Life moves constantly never staying still for even a second. As water flows our life flows.

Adventures

With the snow starting to melt, adventures have started to take place! It is amazing what you can find when you turn down a dirt path, or take the higher road you normally pass by.
Remember to look around once in while or life might pass you by. Look out of the corner of your eye, take a leap of faith, take the path less trodden and treasures lie in wait for you.
That is one of my goals for the summer. I want to find places that are under my nose that I have yet to find. I want to find the magic that surrounds me and let myself go wild!
