My room looks like a bomb explosion site. I have all my clothes strewn across the floor and am assessing the situation with a frowned brow. I have not packed my backpack for several years and had forgotten how difficult it is to do! I must remember to first pack the essentials and then, if these is any room at this point, I am allowed to put in a few more belongings. I was so excited to create a blog that the packing has been put on hold, sushi eaten, tea drunk and now I feel that the journey is starting to unfold.
We head down Vancouver tomorrow so when I next write I might be about the board the plane or I will be checking in again on the stopovers, Dallas, Miami and finally Buenos Aires.
The first stop is Las Lenas. I am so excited to head straight up to the mountains which, from the photos that I've seen, are so different from Whistler. It appears all rocks and steeps - no trees. It did dump 3 feet but not it has warmed up - we'll see what we find! It is always so exciting to ride other resorts and with the promise of sun, steak, good looking men and good wine I'm game!
